Join us as we explore Washington’s breathtaking hiking trails!

On October 12th, we invite you to experience the stunning Gothic Basin, a 9.3-mile out-and-back trail in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and Morningstar National Resources Conservation Area. This challenging hike leads through rugged terrain to some of the most awe-inspiring alpine views in the North Cascades.

Together, we'll marvel at the dramatic granite formations and alpine lakes, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The trail includes steep, rocky sections, guiding us to the tranquil waters of Foggy Lake, nestled in the heart of Gothic Basin.

Our Day Hikes are designed to be welcoming and accessible to all women. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just starting out, you’ll find support with our group. With a limit of 10 participants, our Shifting Gears hike leaders will be with you every step of the way.

The Gothic Basin Trail is a 9.3-mile round trip with an elevation gain of approximately 2,047’. This is our last hike of the season and also our most challenging. As a group, we embrace challenges, celebrate each other's strengths, and take our time to enjoy the journey, with plenty of breaks to appreciate the beauty around us.
