Celebrating Wild Women Everywhere

Terramar Brewstillery, an award-winning brewery, distillery, and cidery was inspired by this year’s Wild Women Week and wanted to help us celebrate even more. Terramar was moved to create a Raspberry - Ginger cider for Wild Women Everywhere. As someone just getting into cider, I’m excited to try this new bevy that will be available in May at Terramar in Edision, and Stones Throw Brewery in Fairhaven, and El Suenito in Bellingham. We hope to announce more locations that will host it on tap shortly.

Wild Women Week was more exciting this year than ever before. Nine hundred participants! Thats right, more than 900 of you participated in over 40 events during the two weeks leading up to our celebration of International Women’s Day. Yoga classes, bike rides, empowerment circles, hikes, climbing, skating, crafting, line dancing, and many other fun activities brought our community together. The response was clear. Women in Bellingham are hungry for connection, challenge, and shared experience.

Shifting Gears believes that access to outdoor recreation can transform lives. Whether it is helping someone commute to work, send that big drop, paddle to the next island, or participate in fun community events, outdoor recreation builds empowerment and well-being.
