Bow/Edison Road Ride

  • 298 West Laurel Street Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Shifting Gears provides an inclusive and informative environment for new riders to feel comfortable riding bikes on the roads of Whatcom County. We are here to adventure together, work through challenges, and celebrate every one of us for taking a chance to set out on an adventure together.

We will take the back roads around Lake Samish from Bellingham to the quaint downtown of Edison. We’ll have a few good climbs and a lot of gorgeous and rural riding, leading us to the heart of Edison with a lot of tasty options for those who want to get a treat. We’ll refuel, before riding the same route home, with the satisfaction of descending every hill we climbed. The ride will be around 20 miles each way and roughly 900ft of elevation gain. We’ll take our time with plenty of breaks at a casual pace. Our Ride Leaders will be there to help you along the way!

More details and how to register can be found on our Road Ride website page.
