Curious about the birds of the northwest? Join us from 5 - 7 pm for a guided bird walk in partnership with professional naturalist and queer birder Kate Brown of Bird Bellingham!
We will start by examining some bird skulls, feathers and nests, and chat about what to look and listen for while birding. After discussing the species we are most likely to see, such as Red-breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creepers, Belted Kingfishers and numerous woodpeckers, we will spend the majority of our time meandering the trails around the pond to see what we can find!
Bird Bellingham is a Queer-female owned and operated birding guide business, which offers affordable public outings and private birding tours. We believe that nature is for EVERYONE, and each and every one of our walks is a safe space for queer folks, people of color, women, and immigrants. You can learn more about Bird Bellingham's upcoming public bird walks and Queer Birders Club outings on BirdBellingham.org.
