What is Wild Women Week?
The 8th annual Wild Women Week is a chance for us as women to celebrate ourselves and each other, discover opportunities for growth and community, and make ourselves seen and heard.
Events are open to all women (cis, trans, queer).
There are over 40 events hosted by businesses and organizations in our community, most women-owned. Activities range from biking to crafts, film nights to open water paddling, aerial dance to hikes. There’s really something for every type of wild woman!
How does it work?
In honor of International Women’s Day (March 8th), celebrate with us daily events between Feb 23 - March 8 that showcase our community’s incredible outdoor (and some indoor) opportunities!
Every day, there will be events and activities for you to join in on the fun! Check out the calendar below for the full schedule. All events are free unless posted otherwise. Some events require pre-registration.
Every activity is a chance to celebrate each other, expand our community, and feel empowered. Come to one or come to all!

Wild Women Week Raffle
Raffle tickets will be available at all Wild Women Week events. Tickets will be sold:
One Ticket - $5.00
Two Tickets - $8.00
Three Tickets - $10.00

Wild Woman Passport
Attend any activity during Wild Women Week and you’ll be able sign in for a ‘stamp’ on your digital Wild Woman Passport! Ask your Shifting Gears rep if you need help registering or signing in.
Then, bring your Passport to the Stone’s Throw International Women’s Day Party and redeem it for raffle tickets to our Wild Women Raffle!
3 stamps = 1 ticket
5 stamps = 2 tickets
8 stamps = 3 tickets
Wild Woman of the Year
We celebrate one woman as our Wild Woman of the Year every year. Nominate yourself, your family member, or someone you know who goes above and beyond for the women in our community! (Nominate here!)
