Whatcom Rowing Association (WRA) invites all women to join them on the water as you learn a new skill on Lake Whatcom. No rowing experience is required. Our coaches will help you and your new teammates develop the basic skills needed to row together on the water.
Where to meet: Whatcom Rowing Association at Bloedel Donovan Park (2202 Electric Ave., Bellingham, WA 98229)
Things to bring: Wear comfortable athletic clothes and layers. Tennis shoes are great for the introduction to the rowing machine; however, please note we walk through the sand and sometimes mud on our way to the dock. So pack a pair of shoes or sandals you don’t mind getting wet and/or dirty. *We will hold the event rain or shine!
