Come celebrate Shifting Gears' Wild Women's Week and our mutual love for the outdoors with Sisterhood of the Trail for a women's hike at Chanterelle Trail on March 1st at 10 AM! We will gather at Lake Whatcom Park in Parking Lot 2 near where Chanterelle Trail starts at 10 AM. Look for a circle of ladies waiting by the trail! We will only be heading up to the first lookout, Chanterelle Lookout (about 2.4 miles with about 1,000 ft elevation gain), making the trip about 5 miles out & back. Bring your hiking shoes, water, and a snack! Make sure to dress for the weather. Parking is free, but limited, so please carpool if possible! Come get a passport stamp while hiking on a great local trails system.
