The Community Boating Center (CBC) and Shifting Gears partner to offer weekly sunset paddles on Bellingham Bay. 

Wild Women Paddles are free, but space is limited, and registration is required. They open on Wednesdays, the week prior.

When: Every Wednesday, 5:30-7:30, starting April 24, 2024! The paddles are free, though CBC requires you to register beforehand (and donations are always appreciated). ​Registration can be found on our Sea Kayaking website page.

*Paddles are rain or shine, but CBC will cancel them if conditions are unsafe!

Where: Meet at the Community Boating Center at 555 Harris Avenue, Bellingham. The paddles launch from CBC and meander along the coast.

Who: This paddle is about creating a community and removing barriers within the sport of paddling. We want to create an inclusive and empowering environment that allows growth and joy.
