The Community Boating Center (CBC) and Shifting Gears partner to offer weekly sunset sea kayaking paddles on Bellingham Bay as well as other on the water opportunities throughout the summer!

When: Every Wednesday, 5:30-7:30, starting in May! The paddles are free, though CBC requires you to register beforehand (and donations are always appreciated). Registration can be found on our Sea Kayaking website page.
*Paddles are rain or shine, but CBC will cancel them if conditions are unsafe!
Where: Meet at the Community Boating Center at 555 Harris Avenue, Bellingham. The paddles launch from CBC and meander along the coast.
Who: This paddle is about creating a community and removing barriers within the sport of paddling. We want to create an inclusive and empowering environment that allows growth and joy. It is open to women (cis, queer, trans) ages 18+.
Cost: Wild Women Paddles are based on a tiered pricing system, which allows us to lower barriers for folks involved. Space is limited on our paddles, and registration is required.
